Ana Hilda Figueroa de Jesús (Akron, OH 1999)

Ana Hilda is an independent curator, historian, and critic based in San Lorenzo, PR and NYC. Her research centers on Contemporary art, memory, affect, and visual culture including ecology and sports. She focuses on Caribbean, Latin American and United States based communities.

Her critical writing has appeared in, among others, ArtNexus, Revista Plástica, and CENTRO. She has curated exhibitions at Galería La QuNa, The Latinx Project and Taller Boricua. Previous collaborations include University of Puerto Rico, Baker Museum, Guggenheim Museum, Smithsonian Institution, private collections, and others.

She earned a MA in Latin American and Caribbean Studies & Adv. Cert. in Museum Studies from NYU (2025) and a BA in Art History from UPR-RP (2021).
