Ecología, naturaleza, cuerpo y tierra featured 45 artworks including ceramics, collage, short film, drawing, sculpture, photography, printmaking, mixed media, performance, painting, textiles, and video by Puerto Rican, Caribbean, and Latin American intergenerational artists. Inspired by the Quechua concept Sumak Kawsay, which translates to “good living” or “the plentiful life,” it proposed a balance between human beings, community, and nature.
